I visited the Missouri Botanical Garden (MOBOT) Lantern Festival on May 26. As in previous years, this display has to be seen in person to be truly experienced. The amount of detail in the sculptures, made from wire, silk and pottery, is stunning.
The festival is friendly to those with mobility issues, there is a lot of walking, but mostly on paved paths that are fairly well lit. It is also wheelchair/stroller accessible.
The festival runs on certain nights now through August 23, and is $11 for members, $22 for non members. Find more information at the MOBOT website.
